Freedom ............ or so I thought

Most stay at home mothers look forward to the day when their children start school.  It gives them a break during the day but also teaches the children structure, independance and new ways of doing things from someone other then Mom or Dad.  My children are for the most part, well behaved.  I've always kept them busy at home with different tasks, crafts, games (electronic or boardgames) or just helping out around the home, in the garden or with my work.

For one year I looked forward to the day when my youngest would start school.  In 2012 they implemented the full day kindergarten program at my children's school.  Wow I thought, how great will that be with all the kids in school.  I can get so much work done with my business and other jobs around the house.  More meetings and social networking ....... It'll be great.  Well not so much :(

Why?  I MISS THEM!! I miss them so much.  Turns out I'm more needy then I thought.  Those times when I would huff about always being dragged here and there for drinks, baths, snacks ect. Well I really miss it, I need it, I like it (OMG did I just say that, lol).  The house is way to quiet and Im not one for day time TV.  So what to do?

Here is what I've been doing;
1.  Exercising everyday after dropping the kids (lost 6 pounds so far)
2.  Check and answer emails
3.  Schedule appointments
4.  Clean/Tidy the house
5.  Dinner prep
6.  Lunch
7.  Edit and/or Marketing (till the kids come home)
8.  Snacks for hungry monkeys and Finish making dinner
9.  Clean up and homework/reading
10. Bed

So this is what I have concluded. The more busy I keep myself during the day, the faster the time goes so I can see my babies :)
Here is some images I captured (or what he would let me) of Cebrials (pronounced Jeb-rye-al) first day of school. He was so excited and got upset only once throughout the day.  So proud of you little man!

Lots of Love,
Mama <3
