Double the fun

I can't imagine how overjoyed the family was to hear that they were having not one but two babies.  Best of all they are so fortunate enough to have 1 boy and 1 girl enter the world. This was the first born babies too, I remember how overwhelming it was when I had my first and let me tell you they are complete naturals and have glided right into parenthood.  Oh did I tell you this family was models for me, I wasn't sure if twin photography was something that I wanted to take on so I was looking for models to test out the session.  Well Im definitely putting twins photography on my list because I loved it and if they are all as good as these cutie's were, then we will be laughing for sure! Congratulations again guys :)

Facebook connections

Once again facebook had reunited me with different people from the past.  This time it is Shawndra and her gorgeous family who I went to high school with.  Her son is so adorable and has such a great head of hair I just want to eat him up! Look at those eyes.  He was a tricky little guy for us, all smiles before hand and as soon as the camera was in his face and we were making fools of ourselves with our goo goo's and hiya's we got.......nothing.  Well something I guess cuz look at these!  Oh and did I mention his eye's, they are amazing ;)

Annual Portraits

It's that time of year again for the Holmen's Family Christmas Portraits and here they are.  Always fun and always colourful just cuz they are such great people.  I guess this is the time of year that most people like the Holmen's choose to do the 'family portrait' right (this was my 3rd annual session with the family). Giving for gifts, a time to dress up and so on.  Well I was so happy to hear that she wants to do a spring/summer shoot! I dont think she realizes how happy I was and (I love indoor portraits don't get wrong) she always loves the photos I do for the family, but wait till she see's what I can do for an outdoor spring shoot.  I'm so excited to show her :D

Merry Christmas to the K's

You guys were such a nice bunch of people to be around for an afternoon.  The whole gang was there, 2 sets of grandparents and an uncle along with mom and dad of course.  Lisa your dad is so funny, he had me belting out laughter a few times.  Well the star of the show is this little man ..... isn't he adorable!

The C's

What a difference this 2nd session was from the first.  I had the opportunity to meet this wonderful family when sweet little Carling was just a few weeks old.  Well, she wasn't the most cooperative newborn and cried her eyes out for ...... oh almost the whole time.  But I did in fact capture exactly what mom was looking for. Look at these this time around, so cute, so precious, and timeless. Happy Holidays!
