Smith Family

Mr Jackson or little man Jackson is one cool cat. So cool in fact we couldn't even get him to crack, a smile that is, lol.  Poor little guy was a little tuckered out after having a full tummy and wasn't interested much in me and my camera. I think mom and dad are doing a fabulous job so far. You would never know this little monkey was almost a month early by his super awesome baby chunks, I LOVE it!!!

Ok enough blabbing and onto the good stuff, The Smith family :)

Noah's special day

Extra Extra Read All About It! Noah is One now.
I joined in with a great group of wonderful people for Noah's special first birthday. Mom and Dad went all out to make the day a hit from all the small details to the big ones too. I was a part of the day for a cakesmash session to kick off the party followed by a photobooth after some good food.

Little Noah was so overwhelmed from all the excitement, I am so relieved to say I got a handful of smiles from him. Here is a peek at his super awesome first birthday.

Tiny Light Gracie

This session took place at Sick Kids Hospital in Toronto. The family is from the Windsor, ON area but have been back and forth the last 3 months with sweet little Gracie. Gracie is 1 year old, and she is waiting for a heart. I am very honoured to be part of the organization The Tiny Light, photographers all over Canada donate their time and talent to families or children who have life altering illnesses.  Every once and I while I need to give myself a reality check and reading, hearing or seeing what some families have undergone with their children, it always brings me back to appreciate the little things in life.

It was a pleasure meeting the family and I hope you remember to keep me posted on Gracie's progress.

Bump'n in style

Oh I am soooo excited for this Sunday. I get to meet baby Zane, he was born last week and will be 10 days old when we do his newborn photos. This is the second newborn I have had the privilege of capturing for this family. See how beautiful they all are here for the maternity session.
Love what we got from this shoot and can't wait to see how the newborn session will unfold.

Mini Sessions

I always get so restless this time of year, your done with winter and you know spring is right around the corner, right?! I get most excited because I can share with you all my new setups and props that I have for this years outdoor mini sessions. Eeeeeek!

Ok here they are! I will be posting more by mid summer for the fall dates as well. If you got your heart set on colourful leaves then I will see you then. Everyone else who wants summer fun with Teepee's, hot air balloons, vintage toys, a vintage 4 post bed (my fav) and a ton of balloons, then please see the dates and locations listed below.

Princess for a day

Little miss C was princess perfection for her Communion photo shoot. She reminded me of those vintage porcelain dolls with the ringlets in their hair and eyes that shut when you laid them down. I think she had a lot of fun and loved all the attention she got. This shoot was done prior to the actual communion day. Mom wanted to have her portrait gifts ready for her guests on the day of the celebration. Some clients also choose the photos to be taken on the day of. At the house or park and the church. Just keep in mind if you are planning on photography in the church, talk it over with them first because they may not allow it.
