1st Birthday

Its a special day for this little guy, he's one now!
Mom was so brave for having the family photos and cake smash done all on the same day.  She had the table all set for his sesame street 1st birthday bash. He was super cute for his session and was a lucky little boy to have cake in the morning, although....... He wasn't so interested in the cake and didn't care to eat it much.  I wish mine were like that! Oh and check out big bros, he is so gorgeous!

Here he is, Nathan.  He arrived a little early for mom and dad who couldn't be more happier.
He was very calm for us and good little prince for the session.  Have a look at what we captured.

Little GQ

That's what Doc, the school janitor calls him ....... Little GQ, lol. I try to update my children's photos every 3-6 months but this one was for Dervis only.  I was toying with the idea of signing him up with a manager for modeling.
Do any of you have any experiences with children that do modeling and wouldn't mind sharing because I'd love to hear.  If you do, please send me a message or post to my facebook wall.

This is baby number 3 for Tara and family.  I first met her a few years ago for her maternity session for  her daughter and now baby number 3 is a surprise and I cant wait to find out what it will be!
The new arrival will have the best big brother and sister ever, they have already done such an amazing job with the first two.  They were great for the session, being very cooperative and waiting patiently for mom and dad to be done.
So excited for the phone call from you guys when baby comes :) I wish you a quick delivery with a speedy recovery.

The man in the moon {its personal} Toronto Photographer

I just could not resist taking this image tonight.  Did you all see the moon? It was so breathtaking! The best part about capturing this was the excitement level of my children.  They shut off the TV with no complaints when I pulled out the tripod and they began jumping with joy.  I love that they get just as excited about nature and photography as I do and I can only hope that 1, at least 1 of them take a liking to this creative work also. Before we knew it the conversation quickly turned into some learning games about the universe and we had fun till bedtime.

Portraits in the Park Mini shoots {Cullen Gardens Whitby}

This Sunday March 11th I will be doing a last minute Portraits in the Park at Cullen Gardens in Whitby.
Sorry for the short notice but I just got a great victorian love seat that I am just dying to get some people on for some awesome pics.  I love Cullen Gardens and feel that it will suite the atmosphere well there!
Plus the weather shows a high of 13 degrees so get on your cozy sweaters and see me there.
